End of my quarter!!

This is my second quarter in college and winter quarter is over this week!!!! This quarter has been a challenging one because I've been very lazy this quarter. College life is fun but I need to take school more serious when I first started in the fall I was all about school I couldn't wait to start and have homework I was so excited! I've always been a good student and I've always gotten good grades in school!!! I told myself me being lazy is going to change and I'm starting to have a better attitude towards school! I just feel like I'm never going to finish I feel like I'm going to be at school forever and it's so frustrating! Nobody in my family goes to college and I see them doing good and they have good jobs but I want more for myself I want a job that I love. My high school principal told me "success is waking up everyday being happy to go to work" he told me that's how you know your successful! I want to feel successful at work and make a difference! I don't mean to sound cheesy but I don't want just a paycheck for doing crap I want a paycheck for helping people and doing a great job at work. I'll get over this whole thing I'm going through with school it will pass! Next quarter will be a better and more positive one!

THESE PAST TWO WEEKS

These past two weeks have been hectic but I'm managing! Last weekend I got my first tattoo so I'm very happy about that!!! I got a rosary around my ankle it's really pretty! And it was also my mothers birthday so I bought her a stainless steel beautiful jewelry box and I got it engraved! She really loved her gift so I was really happy about that this is honestly the first year I've given my mom a birthday gift so I was really glad I was able too this year! We all went out to a very nice place for my moms birthday it was like all spanish music and a dance floor. I really don't care for spanish music but that's what she likes! This week I've been putting in at least an extra 20 hours a week at work so it's been crazy but I'm getting used to balancing work and school work now!!! Who knew college life would be so crazy I thought It would be easier, well not the work but the schedule I guess! I do homework now on my lunch break so that I dont have so much to do when I get home and it is working out great! This weekend I'm going to a concert and I'm really excited I'ts more like a festival thing but It's going to be fun!! I'm going to see Britney Spears next month in April and I'm very excited to see her!!! But the concert of the year is going to be the tickets to my No Doubt concert!! Oh My God I cannot wait to see them perform!!!! And this weekend I'm finally going to paint my room and my bathroom I can't wait my house is finally going to look like it has more than plain white walls!! Although we've lived there for about 3 years we havent got around to painting or deep decorating!! I'm excited and I have a busy week ahead of me with my last two finals 8)

MY WEEK SO FAR!!!

My week started out so hectic!!!!!! First of all I've been so busy at work its been crazy!! And I feel like this quarter has just been a big disaster, I'm not being a good student!!!! I've been lazy and I'm sure it will show in my grades this quarter!!! I'm dissapointed in myself for my negative attitude towards school I just think it's so hard to juggle school and work. I know I'm smart and that I'm better than this I just need to focus on school! I'm doing really good in my math class I'm just struggling in my psych class! And I'm so drained this week. I guess this could be my complain blog!
I better get my act together because I dont get C's and I'm not going to start now!!! I'm going to use this weekend to finish my essay for english class I'm really struggling with that essay! I'ts not that its hard I just think the thought of writing eight pages scares the crap out of me but I have 4 pages done already whats four more????? And I'm glad I chose an interesting topic I'm learning alot and I'm kind of enjoying writing this essay I just wish it didnt have to be so long!!!!

My next writing assignment!

I finally decided what I wanted to do my final essay on!! I have decided to do my essay on gay marriage and I chose this topic not only because its interesting but because I want to learn more about it. When it came to gay marriage I honestly dissagreed with it and mostly because of my religion and also because of the way I was raised but after some research I think prop 8 maybe shouldn't have been passed!!! This assignment is teaching me to be more open-minded and allowing me to see both sides of the situation. Prop 8 is a big deal in society today and I'm glad that I'm doing my essay on a meaningful, life changing topic!
