"Where I'm From"

I'm from a place that I call home

A place where I made my mark

A place where the sun shines bright

A place called Baldwin Park

I'm from a place that I call home

Where we are all equal

A place that is so relaing

But ghetto to some people

Where graduating was not a priority

I thougth that I was cursed

Nobody graduated in my family

So I'm proud to say that I'm the first

So now I'm at college

My success is very clean

I'm from a place where food is great

Where we eat rice and beans

I'm from a Christian family

My faith in God is true

I'm from a loving family

And never judged, but loved for being me
